POD Society L.E.A.D.S

(Leading Examples Achieving Daily Success)

Both Christopher Willars (above left) and R. Stanley aka Atlanta Santana (above right) are living examples of what a Second Chance looks like. Taking full advantage of their opportunity,  they both have forged paths to success that deserve acknowledgment.

P.O.D. has a commitment to empowering the Justice Involved Individuals with their Positive Endeavors.  Our team partners with other organizations and Communities that embrace the success of returning citizens.

We recognize the accomplishments of the returning citizens as we work to create more positive avenues of success.

Positive  Outreach Development (POD) works directly with the incarcerated population by providing essential resources and information to aid their transition back into society. Through motivational and educational seminars, POD inspires hope and prepares returning citizens for a successful reentry, empowering them with the tools and knowledge needed to rebuild their lives and communities.

Programs like POD (Positive Outreach Development) often utilize "Credible Messengers," individuals who have lived through similar experiences, to deliver messages of encouragement and motivation. These messengers are often formerly incarcerated individuals who can resonate deeply with current participants due to their shared backgrounds and experiences. The frequent and relatable nature of their communication helps ensure that the participants can easily and effectively receive the guidance and support being offered. This approach leverages the messengers' credibility and firsthand knowledge to foster trust and connection, making the motivational efforts more impactful.

Michael Wolfolk is a true testimony on Faith and Redemption. After being sentence to Life Without the Possibility of Parole, he was later Exonerated and found Not Guilty after being Incarcerated for 19years.

With his steadfast commitment to Proving his innocence while keeping a Positive Mindset along the way, he now serves as one of our POD L.E.A.D.S (Leading Examples Achieving Daily Success)

His Positive Outreach has assisted in the efforts to improve local communities through Gun Violence Prevention and Awareness Events and Emotional Intelligence and behavioral regulations courses

The Positive Outreach Development has the fortune of working with individuals like Mr. Bilal "Profit"Jackson.

This young man is the ultimate example of resilience and persistence.

Overcoming a extreme prison sentence that would have kept him in prison for 55years, he made it his duty to continue fighting until his case was overturned and freedom was restored.

He is now a leading inspiration and mentor to the youth population.

His delivery comes with a frequency that is receptive and embraced by the younger generation.

July 20th , 2024 The POSITIVE OUTREACH DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY inc. Made a Powerful and Positive statement to the Community.  This is an example of how We as the community can have healthy interactions with Law Enforcement.  Thank you to the Clayton County Sheriff's Department,  Sheriff L. Allen and Sgt. J. Lin for allowing us to serve you for the day!

Mr. Octavious "Big Play" Holiday has exemplified the true definition of what a Second Chance is all about.

Overcoming the adversities of incarceration,  Mr.Holiday is now a political force to be wrecking with.

Making a Positive stand for change,  he understands the mission of POD and accepts the challenges that come with this Monumental Movement.

Let's work to assist and strengthen his efforts.

When it's time to make a "Big Play" for the community,  you have to be able to call upon the Playmakers to get the job done.

On June 4th 2024, Mr. Octavious Holiday stepped up to the plate at the Ga. Board of Pardons and Parole quarterly  meeting to be heard on a number of topics.

But the main objective was to Express gratitude to The Board for being afforded the opportunity to do the best with his second chance also commending them for the excellent work they do. POD is Willing to assist with the ongoing efforts to Reduce Recidivism through Evidence Based Practices while maintaining an elaborate network of meaningful resources and opportunities. The idea of Partnering with other organizations to bring a holistic solution to our community needs is PODS approach.

This is what a Second Chance looks like!
